Our dogs were barking like crazy this afternoon. Frankie in particular had the kind of bark that lets me know that something is up. He was standing behind our wall that covers the pool pump, and looking up into the bushes. I went to investigate and found this little guy. He's so ugly, he is cute. At least I think so. I brought the dogs in the house after that. I'm pretty sure that little guy wouldn't appreciate Frankie's idea of "play." ;)

Oh my goodness... is that a(n) oppossum?! Whatever it is LOL, how cool to see something so unique up close! And I'm literally LOL at the "He's so ugly, he's cute" comment! A face only a mother could love, right? LOL ;)

Yes, Nadine it is a possum. We get quite a few of them around here. They normally don't appear during the day.
