Happy Monday! Well, I mentioned earlier that I would take some pictures of my scrap/stamp space when it was clean, and this is as good as it gets. :)
I have one of Robert's old drafting tables in his office that he was kind enough to allow me to use. The first picture is of the right part of my desk. For those of you that don't know, my husband is an animator. So, I'm surrounded by all kinds of fun things such as that robot to the right. That's Rusty the Robot. There are a couple of Maurice Sendak figures there too, along with my heat gun. The "J" mug is from Anthropologie. The little plastic containers hold brads and eyelets. Those are right below my trusty dictionary. There are also a couple of acrylic blocks for stamping there too. Pretty basic stuff here. The picture of the left side shows my Quickutz, the alcohol inks I was working with, a couple of new stamps and my new tote bag that holds my photo trimmer, rulers, pens and scissors. I never work without my self-healing cutting mat either. That piece of paper in the back, is an index for most of my inkpads, if I need a color to match something, I pull that out to look at. Underneath the drafting table is a plastic chest of drawers that I keep my supplies and embellishments in. It has four small drawers that I labeled, so I no longer have to go digging through them to find something. The bottom consists of two large drawers that hold paper and stamp sets. I also have paper holders in our bedroom that holds, you guessed it, all of my paper.
The last picture is in our bedroom, above a little chest of drawers that holds some stamps, my dye inks, and my pigment inks. Robert surprised me at Christmas with this picture, and I LOVE it. It was made by Megan Brain. While Robert worked at Cartoon Network, he worked with Megan. She's got a blog too, with more of her artwork on it. Her artwork is all made out of paper and paint. It's amazing what you can do with a little paper and paint isn't it? But you already knew that. :)
*my studio space-if you can call it that
