Black Friday and a recap

I have to thank my sister for this picture of us. She snapped it while we were on our way to dinner. My parents and her inlaws were over at her house. It was hard for me to leave to go to the restaurant, I wanted us to stay there. But our dinner was good. We met my mother in law and my sister in law there. The Summit House in Fullerton is a gorgeous place to eat. The views are beautiful, and the inside of the restaurant was completely decorated for Christmas. We sat right next to a huge Christmas tree that was decorated with white, silver and turquoise balls. It sounds kind of garish, but it was stunning. Our dinner was at 4:30 and we were home by 7:30. We've gotten into the Christmas spirit here too, we watched Elf the other night. The boys love it and so do I. I'm kind of indifferent about Will Ferrell too, but I love him in this. I also had plenty of time to curl up with my bookclub book which is turning out to be quite fascinating. I can't wait till bedtime, that is my time to read. So far I feel comfortable recommending Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen.
Robert woke up this morning at 4:00 to go buy a new hard drive at Office Max. It was a great deal, and he totally got lucky because there were only two in the store. He then went to Target to help Santa out, ;) then to Radio Shack, and guess where he is now? Fast asleep. We are in for the day. Have a great weekend.

The Summit House is wonderful! We tried to have our wedding reception there, but they were like booked for a year solid. Seriously!
