this, that and some minis

Well, it finally hit me. Everybody has been sick lately, and now I am too. I still think it's just allergies, but I am miserable! My nose is acting more like a faucet. Yuck. Harrison and I were supposed to go the San Gabriel Mission today for a field trip. I called my group leader this morning and as soon as she heard my voice she knew we weren't coming. I feel like I sound like Barry White.

I will definitely post pictures of my progress on the quilts. Nothing is happening now, as you can imagine. I've got ideas for a pattern though, so I just need to work it out on paper. Thanks for your encouraging words. :)

Here are some funny things I heard the boys saying this week. Earlier in the week Charlie was walking around pumping his fists in the air and yelling, "Her-reka!" (instead of the more popular, "Eureka!")
Then the other night I heard Harrison tell Charlie this, "No Charlie, you go in here (bathroom) to throw-up." Huh? I immediately investigated, it seems that Charlie aka Chipmunk didn't want to swallow the red leaf lettuce from dinner and gagged on it. Sheesh. No worries though, I gave him some water and he washed it right down.

Here is a picture from last weekend. My parents belong to a Mini club. :0 There was a drive through our area, and about 25-30 Minis participated. My mom called me when they stopped for lunch and I couldn't resist going to photograph more Minis then I've ever seen in one place. What a hoot! Have a great weekend.
