We had a nice quiet day today. Harrison is really enjoying his math lately. Go figure, he certainly didn't get that from me.
Charlie was at preschool this morning. I wondered about him the whole time he was there. It was kind of a big day today for him, he brought something for show and tell. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal, but for Charlie it was. He can be so shy. He is doing much better now, but still needs encouragement. A couple of weeks ago, when I picked him up, one of his teachers asked me if he had brought something for show and tell. I told them no, he has never wanted to do it. They thought he had because he seemed excited to share something while the other children were. So, fast forward to today, where I told him this morning that he was going to bring something. The letter of the week is, "P' so we picked an Easter Potato Head for him to bring. :)
I was anxious to know how it went. It went great! His teachers said that he smiled the entire time and did very well. I am so proud of him.
After school they went over to my mil's house for lunch. I have been trying to read the book selection for bookclub and am having a hard time getting into it. I was sitting on the couch and happened to glance down and what do I see, but a battle in our living room. I had to stop, it just made me smile. I don't want to forget these little things. I could have been upset by the mess it made, but I chose to photograph it instead. I love Harrison's imagination. He set this up. I really love the damsel at the top, she looks like she is alerting everyone to the impending battle.
And a happy belated anniversary to my sister and her husband Mark. Yesterday was their 15 year anniversary! I told her yesterday too, I didn't forget. :)

i love lego!
And now you won't forget it because you blogged it :) What a super cute thing to remember. Your boys are so neat.
And yay Charlie!
I love little lego creations. I have a picture of a little Starbucks coffee shop that my Ethan made once. He came up with the idea all on his own. So cute.
Good for you for documenting it - it's so easy to forget little things like that.
