the night before Thanksgiving

It is actually pretty quiet here. I don't have any cooking to do, Robert's aunt always insists on cooking the entire meal herself. So instead, we got her a huge poinsettia as a thank you. I am looking forward to seeing the relatives tomorrow, plus I just love pumpkin pie and could eat it every day of the year.
It poured rain all night and part of this morning too. While it is always welcome, it is a big concern for the burned areas. I love that it cleaned up the air, and it smells clean outside.
I took all three to get the flu shot yesterday. I know how that sounds. I really was prepared for the worst and it actually went ok. Whew. I had mine scheduled for today but a water main broke and flooded the office, bummer. ;( So, now I am rescheduled for Monday.
Here they are in all their glory. We are certainly thankful this year for our latest edition. I am also thankful to all my friends, near and far. You knew that, right?

And a big shout out to my friend Gina. Happy Birthday, Gina! SHe is like the little sister I never had and the reason I am on Facebook. Ha. Or maybe I should blame her. Just kidding, I love staying connected through FB.
