One down, nineteen more to go. Here is my one shelf I saved for the kids. I grabbed any book that was a anthology or treasury and stuck it in here. There are also a couple of encyclopedias and you'll notice my old Collier's Junior Classics. Those belonged to my sister and I. We are enjoying those all over again.

This was taken at the height of the fires over the weekend. Ugly isn't it? Just imagine the smell. We had the house closed up all weekend and still couldn't escape it. There is still ash everywhere. Thank God our friend Laureen was able to go back to her home. A lot of people weren't so lucky.
I am chugging along. Thanksgiving will be spent at Robert's aunt's house this year. It should be fun. Some of the relatives will be meeting Audrey for the first time. And you know she'll be wearing her earthquake dress. ;)

Great bookshelf! Sorry about all the yucky ash. Take care!
Have fun filling up those shelves!!
And I'm sorry about the fires. It seems as if there have been a lot recently :0(
OK...I admit I haven't been on at all lately, so I'm going to do the rundown.
I didn't vote for him either...I'm with ya.
Cute dress your mom made for Audrey! I can't believe how big she is already!
Love the bookshelves! So the bottoms will have doors & tops open, right?
Glad you survived the earthquake & the recent fires...how terrible!
I can't believe you are planting things in the flowerbeds in October!!! That seems so strange to the Minnesotan in me!!!
Hope you have a great Christmas! Renee (rahlfyr@myclearwave.net)
