my crazy week

Monday-I had a very nice time at the Mother's Appreciation Tea put on by the ISP Group. We ate at a wonderful restaurant in Orange called, PJ's Abbey which is a converted church. It was nice to connect with the other mom's in my group without the kids around. :)

Tuesday-Had the consult for Charlie's milk allergy. Was quite surprised when the nurse asked me if he had complained of not feeling well because he had a temp. of 102. News to me! The doctor and I decided that I can keep giving him milk with dinner and he also needs a calcium supplement. So, we'll see how this goes.

Wednesday-Charlie's fever finally broke in the afternoon after an exhausting night. He has a heck of a cough now. Took Robert to the Emergency Room after he choked on some flank steak he ate at dinner. He could breathe and talk, but had a lot of pressure on his chest, and could not drink water without gagging. Lovely. After 4+ hours in the ER, the offending piece of steak passed on it's own. Robert likened it to a cork popping. Finally crawled into bed around 2 am.

Thursday-Lazy day. I am still trying to catch up after last night. I did manage to go to Costco all by myself. Whoopee.

Friday-The house looks like a tornado went through it. And now Harrison sounds sick too. So far Audrey is doing well. Oh, and I forgot to tell you that I have had a sore throat all week. I am looking forward to the weekend!

A big thank you to my sister Chris for coming over at the drop of a hat to watch to kids while I took Robert to the ER. Audrey cried for an hour and a half while we were gone and I know that wasn't fun. Thank you, Chris. I owe you. :)

Another thank you to the bird that dropped a tomato seed while flying over the house. The tomato plant is out of control, and boy are those tomatoes good! (Yes, we like soap.)

Have a good one.
