Well, the baptism preparations are well under way. I ordered the cake on Tuesday, I picked up the baptism gown today from my mom. It is a beautiful gown and the history behind it is really special. My grandmother (Nana) made it and my sister and I wore it. My niece has worn it, and both boys have worn it too. Last, but not least will be Audrey. Then I suppose that their children will wear it. I hope so.
Guess who found her feet last night? I hope you said Audrey. She made her discovery while on the changing table. She grabs them now every chance she gets. Here she is over the weekend watching me garden out front. She loved all of the fresh air, and we had beautiful weather over the weekend, Now it looks like it might rain! Recognize those socks, Laureen? My friend Laureen made Audrey several pairs of socks with the adorable crocheted and buttoned trim.
That night we got ice cream at Baskin Robbins. Charlie got a sherbet called, Wild and Reckless. Doesn't it look yummy all over his face? Let's just say that it looked the same the next day if you catch my drift. ;)
So that's about it. How are you?
Anybody watching Top Chef tonight? Looks like a good episode!

What cuties! Mmmm...now I want to go out for ice cream too :)
We have a special baptismal gown like that. Nana made it for my mom and all her siblings, then me and my siblings, now the 3rd generation. Anyway- it was kind of yellowed(loved and antiqued:) so I dyed a bonnet, socks and shoes in tea to match!
I love it when babies discover their feet... it's so cute when they chew on their toes because it's OK to do that when you're that young! ROFL ;)
