We had a group park day today. I debated about going and decided that we needed to get out of the house and go. I am glad that we did, what a neat park! Here is a brief summary in pictures:

the peacock who came very close to us (too close for comfort)
the beautiful bald eagle, or as Charlie called it, "the blond eagle",

Those peacocks scare the soup outta me! I dated a guy back in high school and his parents had these landscapers who owned peacocks... everytime they came over to work on the yard, they brought their peacocks with them to roam the yard while they worked. Those things were so mean! They would chase me right back out of the yard if I ever went outside while they were there. LOL
Looks like alot of fun! Storytime at the park... how cool!
