Charlie's preschool Open House was last night. My mom came with us and the four of us breezed through it pretty fast. (Robert was still at work.) His artwork was adorable. He was proud and shy all at the same time.
Harrison and I are winding things up. Our last official day is May 29th. It went by so fast, we survived! I am already looking for curriculum for next year. We are going to be adding in a formal history program. That will be the biggest change. There is so much to choose from, I am always nervous I am not going to make the right choice.
About that title. ;) We were in the car coming home from my parent's yesterday and this song came on. Remember Jenny, Jenny 867-5309 by Tommy Tutone? As soon as it came on, Charlie immediately recognized my name and said, "Mom! Is that you?" And then Harrison says, "Is that about you?" Um no. Thank goodness they didn't catch the whole, "number on the wall, for a good time call" lyrics. The innocence of children, it's priceless.

My redneck calendar of the day today says something about following through with an invitation on the bathroom wall...how fitting for this song! I do remember, 867 was actually a local number for us here & I'm sure those people had to change their number after that song came out!
heheeh and if they did hear calling for a good time they could innocently think of the fun they do have with you.
To funny!
tee hee-is that you? ;)
