Bye bye My Thai!

We went out to dinner tonight for my parent's 43rd anniversary. Nothing fancy, just a little Thai place that has been around for awhile and used to have the most incredible egg rolls you ever tasted. Use to being the key words here. It was sold awhile back but we had heard that it was kept in the family. We have gone back a couple of times, the food was always good, but the big heartbreaker was that they changed the egg rolls. I could go on and on about those egg rolls. Sniff sniff. The reason we went back tonight is because my mom wanted to, and a couple of months ago, they had a great review from the Auto-Club magazine, Westways. Well, as my dad said tonight, "Bye bye, My Thai!" Robert ordered chicken, and it came out a good 15 minutes before everyone else's dinner, the waitress used a pass thru to hand my mom her food, and our food was bland. Thai food especially, should not be bland.
One thing is for sure though, we had fun. My parents can find humor in just about every situation and tonight was no different. Happy anniversary mom and dad.

Happy Anniversary to your parents. Your family is just too cute...bye bye my thai! And you're right, bland thai food is just wrong :)

Happy Anniversary to your parents!!! Mine will celebrate 47 years in June. Love that.

I have to agree about bland Thai... that just doesn't work.

Sounds like a fun evening, though!
