The Reagan Library and Museum

We went to the Ronald Reagan Library and Museum yesterday, and I have just one word to describe it: awesome. We all had a great time, except maybe Audrey. She didn't mind, but naps are important you know. She was a trooper. They have a page of the Magna Carta on display now, and if you can get there before the 20th of this month to see it, I would highly encourage it. When I looked at it, it was hard not to feel the importance of it. It was after all, the precursor to the Constitution. What struck me was how small the writing was and how straight the lines it was written in were! It is all in Latin, the penmanship was beautiful, and I still can't get over how straight those lines were.
The highlight for the boys was walking through Air Force One. That alone, is worth the price of admission. It was too cool. For whatever reason, you are not allowed to take photographs on the plane.
We picked a perfect day to go, I would avoid Simi Valley in the summer it can get very hot there. We had huge, white, puffy clouds and a little bit of June gloom mixed in with sunshine.

Those are wonderful photos, Jenny! I love photos that make me want to go to a place, feel like I've been there, or both : )
