after

Here is a peek of the new bookshelves filled! Can you guess what I did this weekend? I am trying to take it easy, I am still fighting this cold which has now made it's home in my chest.
That's all for now. :)

*Edited to add that the lights still need their covers, we had the ceiling scraped last week of the old popcorn finish and it still needed to dry. Now we are going to tile over the fireplace, then we are done. For now.

Love, love it.
A home without bookcases is frankly not very home-y. ;) :D

I only just stumbled onto your blog today, and the first thing I see are the bookshelves! They are beautiful. And the Christmas decorations are beautiful, too. Reminds me that I really need to find a wreath for over our fireplace.

umm...does anyone else scan photos of bookshelves to see if they recognize the titles? I'm pretty bad at actually recognizing books by their distant spines, but I try it anyway.
