It's been a while, I know. My sister keeps asking me, if I updated my blog. Now I can tell her yes! I have a lot to say and not a lot of time to say it, it's Christmas time, right?
So we finally settled with our insurance for what we think is a fair offer for our car. But, what a MESS. I am so disappointed and disillusioned by the whole thing. We had to fight, and let me tell you, it was a battle. In the end we ended up getting over a thousand dollars more than their first offer. It pays to be persistent.
Tomorrow I am going out to the Grove, which is a big outdoors mall in LA. My sister, niece, mom and mil are going to the American Girl store. I'm sure we will go to some other stores too, wink wink. I love that Maddie (my niece) is still into dolls and still is a little girl at age eleven.
Harrison's Christmas show was Monday night. It was very cute, but a tad long at an hour and fifteen minutes. Yesterday he and I went to Color Me Mine and painted Christmas ornaments. I'll pick those up next week, and I can't wait to see his gingerbread man.
I am making bigger Christmas stockings for the boys. Santa has had a hard time making anything fit, so I'm helping him out this year.

I've been wanting to go to the Grove just to see it. Is it worth just wandering there? I am not much of a shopper.
